KESC U16 Youth Football League final
KARACHI, Nov 22: District South ‘A’ won the final of the KESC Under-16 Youth Football League by beating District West ‘A’ 1-0 at the Peoples Sports Complex here on Sunday.
The scoreline of the one-hour duration match remained 0-0 until half time.
The decider was scored by South’s frontrunner Mohammad Umair in the 62nd minute.

The winning team was awarded a cash prize of Rs25,000 along with the winner’s trophy while the runners-up received Rs15,000.
Individual prizes of Rs5,000 each were also presented to Sameer Hayat of District South (best player of the tournament) and Mohammad Arsalan of District Central (best goalkeeper).
The prizes were distributed by squash legend Jahangir Khan, the chief guest on the occasion. Also present was KESC’s Chief Communications and Marketing Officer Owais Ghani.
